Zoey is a 4-5 year, 70 lbs, black & tan coonhound mix. She is a good girl needing a home. In her ideal home she would be the only dog with no babies, toddlers, or cats. She would be fine with older kids though. She has allergies so she needs to stay on Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Skin and Stomach- Salmon and Rice to keep her from getting ear infections. She needs regular exercise and prefers to go for walks. Food can be a trigger for her, that’s why we say no other dogs, so she has no one to fight with over food. She does not like car rides and will bark in the car. She also does not like the vet and needs medications to go to the vet to help her calm down. She is a good girl and is very loving. She loves to cuddle on the couch and give kisses. She loves to chase toys with you and play tug. She’s such a sweet girl, she just needs the right place to call home. Adoption fees are $225 for dogs over 6 months and $250 for dogs 6 months and younger. This fee includes spay/neuter, rabies shot if dog is over 4 months old, parvo/distemper shots up to the time of adoption, fecal check, microchip, and all dogs are heartworm negative.

The dogs/puppies in our organization have been rescued from high-kill animal shelters located in Illinois and Indiana.
