Lito is the lovable class clown of his litter, always full of energy and ready for fun. He’s the one who can’t resist using his siblings as pillows, often trying to climb on top of the dog pile for the best spot! Lito adores being held and cuddled by people, relishing in all the attention he can get. His playful nature shines when he’s wrestling with his siblings, though he’s much more interested in soaking up affection from his human friends. A fan of rubber ball toys and chewing, Lito loves to keep himself entertained with his favorite playthings. He’s easygoing around the family cat and doesn’t mind sharing space with other pets. With his playful antics and snuggly demeanor, Lito is a charming little pup who will bring lots of joy and laughter to any home.
This litter was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas.

- If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded.
- Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free Pet insurance. We are not affiliated with Pet First pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect). Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets.
- The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. While all dogs are picked up during our scheduled times, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances.

- Breed labels are a "best guess" by a shelter veterinarian and cannot be guaranteed.
- A new study has concluded that (in layman's terms), breed assumption is NOT indicative of behavior in mixed breed dogs. Therefore, if a dog looks presumably to be a German Shepherd breed, one cannot assume the dog will have a high prey drive. From the study: "Although many physical traits were associated with breeds, behavior was much more variable among individual dogs. In general, physical trait heritability was a greater predictor of breed but was not necessarily a predictor of breed ancestry in mutts. Among behavioral traits, biddability—how well dogs respond to human direction—was the most heritable by breed but varied significantly among individual dogs.
