Bing is a shy and gentle soul who takes his time to warm up to new people and environments. While he may be a bit reserved at first, once he feels safe and comfortable, he shows a quiet affection that's deeply rewarding. He enjoys his personal space and prefers calm surroundings, but with patience and a gentle approach, he'll start to trust you and may even curl up next to you for a nap. His favorite pastimes include finding cozy hiding spots and watching the world go by from a distance. Though he’s not the most outgoing, his presence is soothing, and with time, he’ll become a loyal and loving companion.

Adoption questionnaires can be submitted online directly from an animal's profile on ycspca.com or as a general adoption application from www.ycspca.org/adopt/ A staff member will contact you to review your adoption questionnaire, then a meet (adoption appointment) can be scheduled between the pet and the potential adopter. If you cannot complete the form online, please call 717-764-6109 or visit the shelter during our public browsing hours to complete a questionnaire. We are open for public browsing hours on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
We are open for scheduled adoption appointments every day of the week from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Other hours are available by request.

The York County SPCA was founded in 1926 and is a charitable organization dedicated to providing long-term human and animal services to residents of York County through programs that find permanent, loving homes for displaced and stray animals, help control animal population growth, investigate and prosecute cruelty offenders and educate the general public about animal wellness and safety.
