Hey there, I'm Shroeder! Are you looking for the perfect gym buddy? I'm your guy! I love staying active with long walks, exploring the world by your side, and making every outing an adventure.

But don't let my energy fool you-I'm super easygoing and love to relax and have fun, too. After a great walk, I'm all about snack time (treats are my love language!). Plus, I'm a charming fella who'll have you head over heels in no time.

More about this shelter

Founded in 1941 by the third female graduate from Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, SAVE is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit animal shelter dedicated to protecting the health and welfare of homeless companion animals in the greater Princeton area and beyond. Through six core programs of Rescue, Shelter, Health and Welfare, Spay/Neuter, Foster and Adoption.

The SAVE shelter facility has the capacity to house upwards of 100 animals at a time (approximately 75 cats and 25 dogs). The shelter exceeds no-kill benchmark standards and ensures that adoptable animals facing adversity are given a lifeline, a chance to flourish, and the promise of a better tomorrow.
