Here's what the humans have to say about me:

(DOB 9/3/2024) Due to Georgia’s young age, she has not yet been spayed. For this reason, we are only considering local placement (within 1 hour drive time of Wake Forest NC).

Georgia, a sweet and gentle 3-month-old puppy who is eagerly awaiting her forever home. With her calm and reserved nature, Georgia is a bit shy at first and tends to seek comfort and reassurance from her sister. She will need a home with another dog to help her build her puppy confidence and feel secure as she continues to grow into a beautiful and happy adolescent.

A quick learner, Georgia has already mastered basic commands and is well on her way with house training, having had minimal accidents throughout the day. With a consistent routine and a little patience, she will continue to make great strides in her new home.

While Georgia may start off a little shy, once she feels comfortable and safe, she will shower you with endless love and affection. She gets along beautifully with other dogs and young children in her foster home, making her an ideal companion for families seeking a loving and gentle puppy.

If you’re looking for a puppy on the calm side (who knew that was even a thing, so big bonus!!!), and is sweet, & affectionate who will blossom into a confident and loyal companion with a little time and patience, Georgia could be the perfect addition to your family. She is ready to offer you all her love as she settles into her new home.

As part of Georgia’s $325 adoption fee, she will be spayed, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. In addition to the adoption fee, a $100 spay/neuter deposit and puppy spay/neuter agreement will also be required. The deposit will be returned once the puppy is altered. 1. Review the description of the pet you are interested in to make sure that the information we have fits with your particular needs and desires. In most cases, the information on the website is current and gives the information that we have about the particular pet. The picture of the pet does not tell the whole story.

2. Complete the adoption application at https://pawsforlifenc.org. Please make sure that you give us as much information about yourself as you can. List all animals currently living with you including other dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and rodents. The application needs to be complete in order to help us determine if the pet you have chosen is a good match for your home.

3. Once the application is submitted we will contact you, your references, and your vet.

4. We require a home visit prior to dog adoptions.

5. If more than one person applies, we will go with the BEST fit. If all things are equal, we go in the order the applications were received.

6. Once the home visit has been completed, you will be asked to complete an adoption agreement.

7. The adoption fee is $325 for dogs under 6 months, $300 for 6 months and older. The adoption fee is $125 for kittens under 1 year ($225 for 2 kittens), $85 for cats 1 year and older. This fee helps us to provide the necessary medical care and other needs for the pets while in foster care.

8. All Paws For Life NC pets are spayed or neutered if old enough, current on shots, micro chipped, and to our knowledge, in good health before they are adopted out. Puppies under 6 months of age will require a $100 refundable spay/neuter deposit in addition to the adoption fee and a special puppy spay/neuter agreement. Kittens under 6 months will require a $50 refundable spay/neuter deposit in addition to the adoption fee. We are all volunteers and receive no monetary compensation for our work with the pets. The adoption fee is used to help defray costs in the rescue and care of the pets.

Paws for Life NC is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, 100% volunteer, foster-based, animal rescue founded in 2002 to help solve the problem of homeless dogs and cats in Franklin and Northern Wake Counties, NC.

Paws for Life NC focuses on reducing the overpopulation of dogs and cats in the community. 1. We provide foster homes for homeless / rescued dogs and cats and find them forever homes. 2. We offer low cost vouchers for spay neuter of pets in low income homes through our “SNIF” Program. 3. We attend county meetings to advocate for improvement in animal welfare.
