My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

June was born February 29, 2024. This leap year pup was born into foster care and is still looking for a loving home. She is smart and sweet. June is shy at first but warms up quickly especially if there are other dogs around. She loves playing and exploring with other dogs, however she is also content playing with a ball or toy by herself. She has been great with my cats. June has been through training and is excellent on a leash. She is pretty good with potty training on a schedule. She is an excellent car rider. June will absolutely make a perfect addition to any family.

Our foster dogs/pups are all in foster homes and can be met by appointment. We also will have regular adoption events at PetSmart and Pet Supply Plus stores.

Active Paws rescue will help pets in need through sheltering, adoption, education, spay/neuter, and community outreach.

Active Paws Rescue would love to see that every animal knows love and kindness. No animal should have to endure needless neglect and suffering. We will provide a voice to those that need it most.

We believe in not only helping the animals but educating our local communities on how to do better.
