Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
*** Mittens is weaned but too young to be adopted and will be available after her spay at UCAN on 1/28/25***
She is available to be fostered within our foster radius of 1 hour from Melbourne KY or Maysville KY, she is young and though she uses her litter box she still isn't cleaning herself effectively and needs a bath every few days. She is also too small for any flea and tick meds, so she needs a weekly bath with dawn dish soap and acv.
Young kittens are alot of work and not completely independent yet!

More about this rescue
At Cleo's Legacy, we are committed to making a positive change in the lives of homeless dogs. Our organization was founded in 2024, after founder, Alex Siska, lost her soul-dog & lifelong companion to old age.
Cleo helped pave the way for rescue work when she was brought home infested with parasites as a baby. Cleo’s brilliant joy, empathy, and love introduced Alex to open her heart for dogs found on the street and at local shelters. Through volunteer work, we saw a need when we realized there were very few volunteers in the Bracken County area, and even less funding. These predicaments didn’t stop the shelters influx of dog dumps and continued over-capacity.
Since then, Cleo’s Legacy has been dedicated to providing a variety of services for homeless dogs - including fostering, adoption, medical care, and funds toward training. We believe in the power of community and working together to make the world a better place.
