Dog's Name: Brandon (BRA0524CHEMD)
Estimated Breed: Border Collie / Great Dane MIX
Approximate Age: 2-3 years
Approximate Weight: 62 lbs
Currently Living at: Foster
Adoption Fee: $400
DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Looking for a chill, laid-back buddy? Brandon’s your guy! He is a little shy at first, but once he settles in his personality will start to shine. He is friendly and wants to please his people. He’s smart too and can learn quickly with some positive reinforcement. After a good case of the zoomies or active session with his toys, he’ll take a nap and just hang out with you in front of the TV. New places and sounds can still be a little scary, but after he experiences them a few times, they become old hat. On walks, he’s quite interested in squirrels and birds, so you should have a strong hold until you’re able to work with him to be more polite on a leash. Easy going and great with other dogs, Brandon's adaptable personality makes him a perfect fit for just about any loving home. Why adopt Brandon? Because he’s ready to fill your life with unconditional love and tail wags! Give this deserving boy the forever home of his dreams—submit an application today!
Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
