This helps Wolf Trap Animal Rescue with pet care costs.
This guys is going to be a wonderful companion! Those big, brown eyes will melt your heart! Bart is only 4 months old but has learned so much so fast! He can sit, stay and lay down, does well with house training, and works hard to do whatever he thinks you want from him. He hasn't had much experience with the car or leash until now, but in just a few days is showing so much improvement in both areas. He is super smart too! He is picking up playing ball and frisbee although he is better at chasing it than bringing it back to you! He will gladly snuggle next to you on the couch or for a nap, but has tons of energy too and needs play/enrichment time. He is a puppy, after all!
Bart has never met a stranger and loves everyone he has met, but mostly he loves DOGS! He was previously living with his sister/littermate and missed her when separated. He immediately bonded to his foster sister, even though she is a little old lady who can't give him nearly the amount of play he would like. He has been great about sharing toys, beds and human attention and when she has told him her boundaries, he listens. This guys would get along with any friendly dog and would enjoy a household where he has another dog to snuggle and play with.
Mandatory in person transfer date: December 21st at the Petsmart in Tysons Corner between 10:00 AM-11:00 AM. All adopters must attend in order to finalize the adoption.
