My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Eurydice (pronounced ur-RID-duh-see) is a beautiful and sweet little girl with lots of love to give! She and her brother, Orpheus, came to us without a mom at 7 weeks old and quickly became loving and playful kittens. Eury loves to roll around with her toys, especially little toy mice, and will chase the feather toy for hours. She is very patient with her rambunctious brother but is a bit more calm and relaxed, preferring to watch the other grown up cats wrestle than to jump in herself. She loves to be pet and get face and chin scratches and will purr so loud you can hear it across the room. She also gives little tiny kisses on your hand and will pull your hands in closer for more pets. Eurydice would do great in a home with children or other cats. She's still learning to not be scared of the big dog, but as long as she has space to get away from him she doesn't let it bother her. All she wants for Christmas is a loving and warm forever home!

All of our cats are in foster homes. You can meet a cat that you are interested in at our adoption center with an appointment.

Sign Adoption Contract

Prior to adoption, every CARE cat/kitten has received a thorough exam from a veterinarian, has tested negative for FIV/Felv (except as otherwise noted), been spayed/neutered if old enough, microchipped, dewormed, given flea preventative, and been inoculated against distemper. Rabies vaccine is given if the feline is over 4 months. Any other desirable medical attention has also been provided. Also, each cat/kitten has spent its rescued time in a private home in foster care being loved and assessed for temperament and personality, needs, likes and dislikes.

After your approval by our volunteers, a legal contract is signed with an adoption donation attached (this donation helps defray the medical costs incurred).
The adoption fee is a Donation.
