Meet Emmie: Your Next Buddy!

Emmie is a gorgeous brown tabby with striking yellow eyes, a crisp white chest, and the cutest four white paws. This playful, curious girl has a personality as unique as her beautiful markings. She’ll greet you with sweet, melodic meows and lean in beside you, making sure you know she’s there for some love and attention.

A bit bashful at first, Emmie warms up quickly to kind greetings and gentle attention. Once she’s comfortable, her playful spirit truly shines! Emmie is always on the move, darting from one exciting "episode" to the next. While she’s not a fan of being held for long (too many adventures to be had!), she invites you to stay tuned for her next charming antic.

Emmie is okay with dogs but prefers to take her time adjusting to new feline friends, as she’s had a tough experience with another cat in her past. She would be fine as the only cat and the center of your attention. With patience and love, Emmie blossoms into a loyal and affectionate companion who will brighten your days.

All of our cats are in foster homes. You can meet a cat that you are interested in at our adoption center with an appointment.

Sign Adoption Contract

Prior to adoption, every CARE cat/kitten has received a thorough exam from a veterinarian, has tested negative for FIV/Felv (except as otherwise noted), been spayed/neutered if old enough, microchipped, dewormed, given flea preventative, and been inoculated against distemper. Rabies vaccine is given if the feline is over 4 months. Any other desirable medical attention has also been provided. Also, each cat/kitten has spent its rescued time in a private home in foster care being loved and assessed for temperament and personality, needs, likes and dislikes.

After your approval by our volunteers, a legal contract is signed with an adoption donation attached (this donation helps defray the medical costs incurred).
The adoption fee is a Donation.

And, accepts on a limited basis animals from alternative sources. We are committed to the highest principles of humane care and obtain professional medical treatment for all animals in our systems.
