Hi, my name is Woody! I’m available for adoption as a bonded pair with my friend/littermate Buzz! Please read the questions and answers about us both to learn more. If we sound like a good fit, come out to Greenhill Humane Society to meet us!

Do you like other cats? I love my friend/sibling, Buzz and need to go home with them! We lived with two other cats in our last home, and would probably do well with another after a slow introduction period.

What do you think about living with a dog? We do not have prior experience living with dogs, but we may do well with a calm, cat savvy dog after a slow introduction period.

How do you feel about kids? We previously lived with kids of all ages and did well!

What was your previous home like? A loving indoor home with other cats and children.

What’s your ideal home like? One where Buzz and I can be together and have the love and attention we deserve. We require an indoor only home.
Is there anything else we should know about you? I need to go home with Buzz and we are very sweet!

Shelter Hours are 11 AM - 6 PM every day of the week.

Adoption fees vary. Dogs, cats, and rabbits are all spayed or neutered before adoption, include initial vaccinations, a microchip for I.D., and a certificate for a free health check at a number of local veterinarians.

We're located on Greenhill Road between W. 11th and Royal Avenues, approximately 3 miles south of the airport. Directions from east or west: From the east, take the Beltline or surface streets to Barger Rd, or West 11th, and head west to Greenhill Rd. Turn left on Greenhill Rd (from Barger) or right from West 11th; we're approximately a mile down the road. From the west, take Hwy. 126 to Greenhill Rd., turn left at Greenhill Rd.

More about this shelter

Greenhill Humane Society has been caring for animals in Lane County since 1944. We operate the only animal shelter within the Eugene/Springfield area. Our programs include animal adoptions; reuniting lost animals with their families; disaster response; crisis care boarding in situations of domestic violence, medical emergencies, and other crisis situations; spay/neuter for free roaming, un-owned community cats; a pet pantry; on-site volunteer opportunities; foster care and humane education.

Last year, we helped reunite or find new loving homes for 2,826 animals. In addition, we provided 469 cat spay/neuter surgeries to assist cat caregivers in reducing feral cat over-population.

Greenhill is a private non-profit and relies on donations for a majority of its budget. The generosity of our local community enables us to provide a high level of care to lost, abandoned, and neglected animals while at the same time helping pet owners in need.
