My name is Penny Lane!

Penny Lane is biddable and intelligent. She enjoys learning (especially if there is a treat involved). Since arriving, she has learned sit, off, stay, come (good recall in a fenced yard), down, leave it (about 80%), crate, is learning to walk on lead (about 45%) and go to your place. She has been taught to wait at the door before darting out. She must do the same before she is let out of her crate. We are working on drop it when she brings back a toy. She is learning not to counter surf. She still slips up once in a while but it is more of a hey, what are you doing up there? rather than trying to steal something. However, like most animals, she can be an opportunist if food is left unattended. Given the proper amount of exercise, Penny Lane does have an off switch. She loves nothing more than to sit on the couch with you while you rub her all over. If you stop, she may paw at your arm to get you to continue the rubs. She is 100% housebroken and crate trained.
