-Niblet was born from a female we had here on pregnancy watch, from a group we took from the local humane society. He was finally old enough to wean from his mom and he is ready to find a forever family! Niblet is a typical little stinker baby lol. He is still getting used to being handled and will sometimes nip when he’s annoyed. We think with more handling he will definitely get used to interacting with humans more. He’d do best in an adult only home. He’d be fine bonded to another non aggressive male. Chinchillas can live 20 years with proper care! We do not recommend chinchillas for children as they do not make good pets for children under 12. They require a specialized habitat with multiple levels, specific food, and regular grooming care. All potential adopters will be fully screened and must fill out an application and come meet the animal they wish to adopt. No animals will ever be shipped. We are a small animal rescue located in western Pennsylvania, within driving distance of cleveland and Pittsburgh. We specialize in cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, and other small creatures. We are here for all that are in desperate need of a home, whether that be from neglect or abandonment.
