My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Pinch. My foster mom named me that because when she first got me, I was a little pinch of "pepper". I was found in the grass by a nice family. I was only a couple of weeks old. They noticed that my eye was opened but was not the same as the other one. It hadn't developed fully. She sought out a rescue and had them take over. It was looked at and the vet determined was just a birth defect. I am a healthy baby and full of life. I love to play with catnip toys, wiggley objects, and lounge on the couch with you. I love sleeping on your arm and grooming myself on your lap. I am good with cats, kittens and dogs.

More about this rescue

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit cat rescue group. We rescue abandoned cats & kittens from the streets and high kill city animal shelters in Orange, Los Angeles, Imperial and San Diego counties.
We also help people who need to rehome their pets through our Community Foster Program in that we post the cats on our internet sites and accept applications for them. We also help the owner screen applicants and bring their cats to our adoption events but we cannot physically take them since we are foster based. We do not have a physical shelter, we foster in our homes, not in cages which is a more natural environment for cats.
Lastly, we help reduce the number of unwanted kittens with TNR (Trap-Neuter/spay-Release) by loaning traps and instructing others on how to TNR and by referring people to low-cost S/N clinics.
