Here's what the humans have to say about me:
If you're looking for a fun-loving puppy who is always up for a good time, then look no further! I'm Cassandra, a playful, easygoing, and curious little bundle of joy, and I’m just soaking up all the good vibes life has to offer. 🌟
I’m still in the “puppy learning” phase, which means I’m working on my manners and training (like mastering the art of walking on a leash without pulling..... it's a work in progress!). But hey, I’m smart, and I’ve got the enthusiasm to learn all the new tricks and commands, as long as there’s a treat or belly rub involved! 🐕💕
I’m super friendly and love being around people—whether we’re going on an adventure, playing in the yard, or just snuggling up on the couch, I’m always happiest when I’m with my favorite humans. I get along great with other dogs too, and I’m always up for a playdate with new friends! 🐶
I’m super active and love to run, chase, and explore, but I also know how to relax when it’s time for a cuddle. My maximum weight is expected to be around 35-40 lbs, so I’ll be the perfect size for adventures and snuggles alike!
If you’re looking for a loving, fun, and easygoing pup who’s always up for a good time and a new adventure, I’m your gal! Let’s go make some memories together! 🌈💖

We do our best to match up potential adopters with just the right pet as we want to ensure a lifelong placement for the rescued animal. Our adoption process includes an initial application, with home visit, reference and vet checks. If the match is a good one, we then have an adoption contract that is executed. We have a commitment not only to our adopted dogs, but also to the families that adopt them, and we are always available to help with the transition to a new home. We check in during the first few weeks to answer any questions or help with any issues - or to just give you someone to brag to about your new baby. We can't hear that too much!

More about this rescue
Shelter2Rescue Coalition is an all-volunteer rescue organization dedicated to the safe-rehoming of shelter animals. We started as a rescue facilitation organization, helping rural shelters publicize their at-risk dogs, thereby dramatically reducing the need to euthanize for space. Then, as we worked with more shelters, it became very apparent that if we could just buy the dogs up for euthanasia just a little more time, you could save even more lives. The 72-hour hold limit at most shelters just wasn't enough for most dogs to get out. Therefore, we expanded and built partnerships with boarding facilities, transport organizations and other nationwide rescues in order to be able to provide a temporary safe haven for dogs out of time. We have now expanded Shelter2Rescue Coalition to include our own adoption program. Since June 2007, through facilitation and adoption, Shelter2Rescue Coalition volunteers have saved over 2000 dogs and cats.
