My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Simon Says… adopt me! The name is synonymous with the game and a former judge on a long-running tv show. This Simon is more the sweet and quietly charming type. He has sneaky love as I like to call it, you don’t have to spend much time at all with him to pick up on his sweetness and because he isn’t the type to bounce over to you with his whole heart on display, he is the type to greet you peacefully, you may even think he is a bit shy, but truthfully his personality isn’t the loud type it is calm and steady. Simon is all about affection, leaning into you for pets and showing off his tender, submissive side. In other words his love is going to feel aimed right for your heart and really special. Take a look at him in action then come back to read more https://youtu.be/XtakWajFbbs

A fast way to see Simon truly lights up is when he is with other dogs. It is so cute! Imagine being a party where you know a few people casually, small-talk is fine but then your bestie walks in. That’s the reaction you see on him. Basically, watching him open up with a canine buddy is like watching your best-friend walk into a party where you didn’t know many people and weren’t feeling it. He becomes playful, confident, and so much fun to be around. He’s respectful and gentle with other dogs, ready for a game of chase or a cozy side-by-side snuggle. And when it comes to feline friends? Simon passed his cat test with flying colors, showing polite indifference. With a little guidance, he could absolutely share his home with a feline friend.
Estimated to be 6 months old, this boy is still a puppy, learning and growing everyday. From leash manners and basic training, he’s smart, eager, and the perfect age to soak up new skills. Once he is home he will be a great walking buddy, playmate, and snuggle-buddy, that will only get sweeter with time.

Simon’s ideal home would include another dog- for your entertainment and his. I don’t know how I come to this exactly but the same way you know if someone is a city person or not, Simon here is a bit more of a outskirts of town/dirt road kind of guy. He can do suburban life but he isn’t about that hustle bustle of the city.

Simon is a dog that will never leave you wondering how loved you are, he is going to ensure its known each and every day. Dog perfection by any of our standards. If you are looking for an adorable, playful, affectionate dog who is the prime age to melt right into your life beautifully. Long walks, backyard hangs, snuggles on the couch…Simon is ready to be your perfect side-kick for it all.

If you think Simon could be The One for you, don’t wait—reach out or fill out an application today. Dogs like Simon don’t stay available for long, and it’s easy to see why!

https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success.

Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!

Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond.

Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.

The rescue’s hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue.
While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs.

It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS:

Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission!

Follow our rescue journey and connect with us on our website and social media platforms. Together, we can make a difference, one adoption at a time.
