Brooks – A212866
Male, Tan and Black German Shepherd Dog
Location: Yolo County Animal Services
Age: Approximately 5 years old
Weight: 89.00 pounds
About Brooks:
Brooks is the definition of a gentle giant. With his stunning coat and soulful eyes, this sweet boy is ready to become someone’s heart and soul dog. He has been at Yolo County Animal Services since November 28, 2024, and he’s more than ready to find his forever home.
Brooks has a mellow and affectionate personality, making him the perfect balance of playful and cuddly. When you spend time with him, he’ll happily lean into you for affection and show off his ability to sit and give paw. He absolutely adores human connection and will “hug” you with excitement when he hasn’t had a chance to get out yet—he just wants to love and be loved.
This 89-pound sweetheart walks beautifully on a leash, staying by your side with a short lead and never pulling. Brooks also enters and exits his kennel flawlessly, a small but telling sign of his calm and sensitive nature. While Brooks seems to be easygoing, he could potentially do well with the right dog with a proper introduction.
If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and gentle companion who will bring joy to your life, Brooks might just be your perfect match. He’s waiting for someone to love him as much as he’ll love you.
