Boots is a sweet Labrador/Rottweiler mix. His temperament is probably more Labrador than Rottweiler, but as he has gotten older, he has become quite a calm dog. He is very social and is used to living in our relatively small house with a lot of people. Boots enjoys walks, having his coat brushed, and back scratches. He does not jump up or get on furniture and will sit politely at the door to ask to go out.
Boots barks when people are at/near the door, but he has never been aggressive. He does pull at the leash a little, because he has never really been leash trained. So ideally he would need a stronger person to walk him. But otherwise, he just likes to follow his people around and be part of things. He has grown up around other dogs and also cats.
We are moving overseas and just learned we cannot take him due to breed restrictions. We would love for him to find a caring person or family to give him the love and attention he deserves.
