Meet Nicky!

Nicky is a stunning 2-year-old black and white Mastiff with a calm and gentle demeanor. Weighing in at 99 pounds, she’s a big girl with an even bigger heart!

This laid-back lady is incredibly easy to handle and gets a perfect score on her “lean”—she loves leaning in for affection. Nicky also seems to know 'sit' and 'shake,' though it takes her a moment to remember her commands, which only adds to her charm. She’s well-mannered, easy to walk, and leash gentle, making her a joy to spend time with.

Nicky has been at the shelter since December 4th and is ready to find her forever home ASAP!

All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months). All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and current on flea control. To adopt you must have a photo ID and proof of your current address. If not on your ID then bring in a bill with your name and your current address. If you rent you must provide a lease clearly stating the pet policy or provide a name and phone number for your landlord so that we may confirm the pet policy. If you own your home you may provide a mortgage statement or property tax bill for proof.

You must be 18 years or older to adopt.

If you wish to adopt a dog and have other dog(s) at home, please bring them with you to the shelter so that they may meet. Even if your dog is wonderful with other dogs, many of the dogs at the shelter have come in as strays so we have no history on them and need to be sure they get along with your pet(s).
