Queries is a 9-year-old, 65-pound sweetheart with the softest blue eyes and an even softer heart. This gentle old man is as easygoing as they come. Perfectly content being a couch potato, Queries loves lounging around but still enjoys a leisurely walk to stretch his legs and take in the world at his own pace.

He’s dog-friendly and has lived harmoniously with a small dog, though he’s much more interested in relaxing than playing. Queries is mild-mannered, calm, and not particularly into toys, but his sweet personality shines through in every quiet moment you spend together. He accepts pets and affection but takes his time warming up to new people—patience and love will unlock his heart completely.

Queries is still working on his potty training but is making progress. His chill demeanor and low energy make him a perfect match for a peaceful home, whether as the only dog or with a similarly mellow canine companion.

LifeLine embraces the Adopters Welcome approach. This philosophy encourages conversation-based and open-minded adoptions, enabling us to find more homes for our shelter pets without unnecessary judgment.
We have many wonderful pets waiting to be yours! Adoption fees are $85 for dogs and $65 for cats (Dogs over 5 years old, $40). The adoption fee to persons over 55 years old is $40. Adoptions includes spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, microchipping, heartworm test, fecal test, and Feline Leukemia/FIV test for cats.

Monday, Wednesday - Friday: 11:00am – 7:00pm
Tuesday 11:00am - 8:00pm
Saturday & Sunday: 11:00am – 6:00pm
Closed these holidays: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
