**Meet Sandy Claws!** 

Sandy Claws is a sweet and loving 1.5-year-old pup looking for her forever home. Weighing in at 80 pounds, she may be a big girl, but her heart is even bigger! Initially a bit shy, Sandy quickly warms up once she feels comfortable. Her favorite way to bond is through belly rubs, and she can't resist the joy they bring!

Sandy has met a few dogs at the shelter and has done wonderfully, showing that she has a friendly and gentle nature. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will fill your life with warmth and happiness, Sandy Claws might just be the perfect match for you! Come meet her and discover the love she has to offer.

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

Most of our animals need a little "extra" to be successful in a home environment - fill out an app to see if you might be a good fit!

2.

Interview

Depending on your app, we may schedule a phone interview to discuss the particular needs of the animal you applied for.

3.

Home Check

Quick home check to make sure that your place is suitable for their new animal.

4.

Approve Application

After you application is approved, we schedule a time for you to meet the animal.

5.

Take the Pet Home

We require that all of our potential adopters do at least a two week adoption trial period before finalizing.

6.

Sign Adoption Contract

After the trial period, if you decide to finalize the adoption we'll send you the paperwork.

7.

Pay Fee

After the contract is signed and their fee is paid, it's official!

Our support does not end at adoption. We continue to offer donation-based post-adoption services to help the new family. <3
