Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Rocky was brought in as a stray from animal control as he was found roaming the county, He can be a bit shy at first but seems to warm up quickly to anyone willing to give him love and treats. Seems to only do well with low energy/ well mannered dogs. Rocky does well on a leash and seems to just want to follow you around. A slow feeder would be recommended for him as he prefers to eat very quickly. Tends to pull on leash to get to our feral cats. He enjoys stuffed toys and is very treat motivated.

More about this shelter
New Hope Animal Shelter is a 501(c)(3) private nonprofit organization servicing Volusia County Florida since 1955.
Our policy is no-kill. We will NOT euthanize an animal to make room or to reduce pet overpopulation. “adoptable” means an animal is healthy and well-adjusted, not ill or injured, and can be safely made available to the public for adoption. We reserve the right to refuse admission due to space availability, or if the animal is dangerous, in poor health, or otherwise deemed un-adoptable.
