My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

HOW TO ADOPT: This dog is currently spending time in a foster home. To schedule a time to meet this dog, please email fosterinquiry@arl-iowa.org.

---

- Toad has never met a stranger he doesn't like and will seek out love from everyone he meets

- Will be your little shadow around the house

- Loves cheese!

- Has great manners and rides perfectly in the care; likes to lay down and nap in the backseat on drives

- Working on crate training and will sometimes chill in his crate when the door is left open for him

- Very brave and is totally unphased by the vacuum cleaner

- Enjoys baths and all the scratches that come with them

- Has done well with a toddler in his foster home and has loved all of the neighborhood children he's met

- LOVES hanging out with his foster family's other dogs and will likely enjoy living with another active dogs he can play with; is good at taking cues from other dogs when they're ready to be done playing

- Has ocular dermoids in both eyes, a condition where normal tissue such as skin or hair grows in an abnormal location on the eye; has had multiple surgeries to give him as much visual field as possible and currently appears comfortable; his foster family says he appears to have some visual impairment but it doesn't slow him down! (more info at ARL)

All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)
