My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Danny Z is the sweetest old soul you'll probably ever meet. You can tell he's not had it easy, he is timid and scared in new situations. He had completely shut down in the shelter environment and found himself in immediate risk. But he loves people and attention. He is good with cats, and small dogs, he is good with chill big dogs but does not enjoy large dogs up in his face. He is house trained, good on a leash, and crate trained although he is prooving to not enjoy crate time. He has learned to open his crate and set himself free, however he does fine when left out in the house. He is scared of the young child in the foster home but we feel he would do ok with older kids that understand the needs of timid dogs. He is neutered, microchipped and current on vaccines. At only 65 pounds right not he's pretty thin but we're confident he'll have an awesome glow up story with some time. He just needs someone to show him the love he deserves and how good a dogs life should be.

Go meet their pets

Life Savers Animal Rescue has no physical shelter. Animals are housed in foster homes, so in order to meet a dog, an online application must first be completed and processed and approved. Then a meet and greet will be arranged. This process may be delayed should there be many applicants for one dog, so your patience is appreciated.
