My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Are you looking for the soft sensitive type? Ricky is exactly that. he is shy at first but one he's comfortable he begins to open up. Ricky is the type of dog that needs to tryst you before he lets you see his cuddly soft side. We can tell from his demeanor and shy tendencies the beginning years of his life were not kind to him. We know with time and love he will blossom into an amazing companion. He already has made so much progress in his foster home. He loves every dog he's ever met, big or small. He is good with cats. He will tkae a calm patient person to bring him out of his shell. He would do well with older kids but is terrified of younger children. Ricky is house trained, crate trained, learning to walk on a leash. He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines.

Go meet their pets

Life Savers Animal Rescue has no physical shelter. Animals are housed in foster homes, so in order to meet a dog, an online application must first be completed and processed and approved. Then a meet and greet will be arranged. This process may be delayed should there be many applicants for one dog, so your patience is appreciated.
