My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Chicken Tender. I am a beautiful shorthaired buff girl with white socks and extra toes!! I was a neighborhood roamer until HPA took me in after I had my babies on a porch. I did a wonderful job raising my 6 little nuggets and now I am looking for my furever home. You would never guess that I was living on the streets because I am so affectionate and love hugs and kisses. Whoever adopts me needs to be prepared for me to always be asking for lovins and to probably be in your lap most of the time. My foster mom has tried to do introductions to the resident cats in the house and none have gone well – probably because I am in mama mode. And probably because of my street roots, I am not found of dogs. I am still fairly young at heart and my foster mom catches me playing with the kitten toys all the time. I would love to be the queen of your castle. I eat dry and canned food, I am litter trained and I am an indoor only kitty.

Meet the Pet

Once your application is approved, a meet and greet will be set up between you and your pet of interest.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

If the meet and greet goes well and your adoption application is approved, you will sign the adoption contract.

4.
Pay Fee

Once the adoption contract is signed, you will pay the adoption fee.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Bring your new best friend home! Remember that it will take some time for him/her to adjust to their new environment.
