First things first, Posh Princess will with out a doubt be the princess of your life. So if you're looking to add a little princess in form of a fur baby to your life, no need to continue your search because you have finally found her! Posh is more than just royalty, she has a personality that will keep you on your toes, always making you smile, and has this sweetness about her that you can help but want to squeeze her. She loves to snuggle, loves to go on walks, is dog friendly, and amazing with kids! What more can you ask for in such a small package. Did I forget got mention she is the literal definition of great things come in small packages?! Well its true with this little lady!
Watch her video and I promise you, you'll find yourself clicking on that adoption application and signing the dotted line at the end of it:

We believe that Posh is a Lab/Pittie mix approximately 8 months old and currently weighs 33 lbs and we don't believe she has it in her to get much bigger than that! She's a tiny little thing, and the perfect size. Not too big and not too small, she's just right. Posh is a rescue dog and with any rescue it's always a mystery and we can't guarantee breed or age.
Posh loves kids and has spent time with a 4 year old and has also been fostered in a home with a 7 year old and teenagers. Can you take a wild guess who was her favorite? Well if you guessed the 7 year old, you guessed right! She loved giving him kisses and making sure his face was completely clean. I'm pretty sure she was thinking "how many licks to get to the center of the tootsie pop." She's not all kisses though, other times she likes to lay at your feet and act like the best perfect foot warmer ever to have existed or she's acting like your personal heated blanket snuggled up in your lap keeping you all cozy.
Posh is dog friendly and has the best time when she joins in playgroups. Her best friend and absolute favorite out of all of the dogs she has met has to be a dog named Birdie. She is the life of the party and loves to have a good time, just like posh does! Watching the two of them play you would think it was a match made in heaven. They both enjoyed running around, playing chase, and wrestling around. When both dogs were done playing they both took breaks on their one and simply new it was a good time for a play break. Birdie is a happy go-lucky care free lady that is respectful when a dog doesn't want to play and is always game for when a dog does want to play. We would love to find a similar match for Posh! If you don' have other dogs that's fine by Posh too! I mean she is a princess and would be happy as a clam being the center of your world.
Posh is a smart little lady too and will work for just about any treat you offer her, especially nuggets. She can't resist those and I can't blame her. Posh takes her treats so very gently like the princess she is and she has the most elegant sit. Not only is she incredibly smart, she is also crate trained and potty trained. She may need a reminder about her kennel being a safe place once she arrives (which is very normal when in a new place) but with patience and practice she'll remember in no time that it's her own little castle per se.
Wanna know one of Posh's favorite things to do?! She loves to go on walks and have cute little day dates with her person, find a spot in the grass that looks just right to lay down on and essentially people watch with you. She walks great on a leash and she is even good at walking on a long leash if you have one of those she'll have a blast. Posh is a perfect princess in the car as well. She loves to go on car rides especially if that car ride leads to a drive through where she can get her favorite treat, a pup cup! If you're not feeling up for a walk in the park or if the weather isn't ideal for an outing, Posh will be perfectly content snuggling on the couch with you for a movie marathon or binge watching your favorite show.
Posh is ready to be your best friend. Cats, dogs, kids- they’re all fine by Posh. We are willing to test Posh with anything you need us to in order to ensure she’s the perfect match for you! We can make most anything happen! Just let us know.

https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success.
Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!
Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond.
Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded.
It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS:

Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission!
Follow our rescue journey and connect with us on our website and social media platforms. Together, we can make a difference, one adoption at a time.
