My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

From the owner:

This sweet girl is in need of a new forever home! Iris came to stay with us after a family member had a medical emergency and couldn't keep her anymore. She's super loving & playful, and has been spoiled all her life. She wants to be with people ALL the time. If allowed to sleep with you in the bed, she'll either be your perfect teddy bear, or share your pillow!

She's very playful and always curious to meet new people. It only took her a few days with us to feel like our house was "home," and she quickly became "queen of the castle." Iris sadly doesn't do well with other cats, because she wants to be the center of attention. She unfortunately hasn't been able to integrate with our older cats, and we're having to keep them separated until we can find a permanent home for her. She really needs to be a solo kitty.

If you're looking for a super cuddly love-bug who loves belly rubs, Iris is your girl!

More about this rescue

Feral Folk was originally founded to rescue and spread awareness about mislabeled shelter cats, and to promote TNR efforts for true ferals. We currently provide TNR services to the New London, WI area, and can assist in transporting barn cats to spay/neuter clinics.

While intakes of friendly adoptables are currently closed, we are happy to share courtesy posts for community members in need of finding a new home for their cats. Reach out to feralfolkmail@gmail.com or find us on Facebook if you want to submit a courtesy post.
