Meet Conan! This boy was picked up by animal control as a stray running at large multiple times with his sister (who we also have!), Honey, and was finally put up for adoption.

Sadly, and surprisingly, no one came for him or Honey in time, and they were scheduled for euthanasia for space. When we found out about them and how sweet they are we couldn't allow that to happen!

Conan is still decompressing, but he came to his first adoption event recently and did wonderfully with everyone, and the other dogs! He is housetrained, kid friendly, and a snuggler! He would love an active family of his own, with or without a doggy sibling (maybe reunited with Honey??), a fenced yard would be great, and some fun adventures!

If you're looking for a happy, playful guy to take with you on hikes and then cuddle up on the couch, you will love Conan!

Please apply at the link below if you'd like to meet him, and we'll be in touch!

To Do All We Can to Aid in the Rescue, Safety and Welfare of Stray and Abandoned Animals to end as much suffering as possible.

We realize we cannot save the world … but we can try by working with each rescued animal on an individual basis.

Go meet their pets

Because we are not a shelter, do not have a boarding facility, and are not connected with any other agency, we always welcome foster homes where animals can stay temporarily. We also welcome all tax-deductible donations from individuals or foundations.
No donation is too small.

More about this rescue

A Welcome Home Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit created to help the homeless, hurt and/or abandoned animals. Our end goal is to place each animal in a permanent, loving home where all their needs will be met. We believe every animal deserves humane treatment. We believe in our role as caretakers, protecting those who cannot defend themselves, speaking for those who cannot speak for themselves.
