What my friends at ACC say about me:
Ellie tolerates attention and petting but appears to be moderately fearful or stressed in the shelter. She will likely need time to warm up to her new home. We recommend that she go to a home with some cat experience preferred or at least be well counseled in fearful cat behavior.
I have feline leukemia and am living my life to the fullest!
A volunteer writes: Ellie spends all of her free time sitting at the front of her condo kneading and reaching her paws in the most heartfelt attempt to invite people over. She's one of the hardest working kittens I know, so please accept her invitation. Once I did, Ellie flopped herself into my arms, gazing up at me with a whole world of love. Contentedly cuddling, she purred and kneaded her paws with the same extravagant enthusiasm she used to call me over. She's a happy kitten who has made enormous progress since coming to us. The first few times I met Ellie, she was fluttering about her condo like a brand new butterfly, inspecting everything with wide eyed wonder and hopping back in her den when it got to be a bit too much. This made perfect sense because Ellie is a kitten. Everything is very new to her, especially the shelter. Ellie was brought to us with another kitty and is known to be a lap kitten, which we can definitely see given her insistent invitations. She is FeLV positive, ready to live a full and happy life with you!
