Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
I originally got Bella from a family that got her from a local shelter back in 2015. My fiancé at the time convinced me to get a dog but after he left in 2016, Bella stayed with me. I originally didn’t want a dog because I travel often, but I kept her all these years. I would like to now switch careers and being alone, I think it’s best to find a loving family that has more time for her.
She gets along with everyone, loves attention and affection. She’s very intentional when she barks so it’s clear to know what she wants. Isn’t destructive, very easy to care for. House trained. She does get anxious when she hears loud noises outside and doesn’t particularly care for vet visits. Her only health concerns are slight arthritis which she takes joint supplements for, and she has crystals in her urine which she has prescription food now to help.
