Onyx!

Onyx is a perfect name for this black shiny as coal, sleek boy that  is estimated to be about 2 years old and weighs between 65-70lbs!

Onyx was not socialized with other dogs when younger and being in training at Elmhurst Animal Care Center is helping him learn that other dogs can be friends - so at this time, he will need to be the only dog in the home.  There are a few videos of Onyx in training on the Facebook page at "Magnificent Mutts Rescue"

As part of his adoption, Derrick, the trainer at Elmhurst, is offering a continuation of his training with a FREE 6 week training course!!! 

He is house and crate trained, is a "cuddler" and is wonderful with people. Onyx loves to run and play outside, so a fenced yard is strongly preferred. 

UPDATE:   Onyx has received a sponsor reducing his adoption donation to $200.  

We recommend obedience training for all pups and dogs!

       **Breed or size (once fully grown) is a 'best guess' and is not guaranteed since they arrived into rescue without either parent.

**Magnificent Mutts is an all foster home based rescue and meets are held by appointment with the entire family in attendance.
