My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

How Madison arrived:
Madison was brought in by a community member.

Why Madison might be the one for you:
Let's get to the important stuff first - Madison's foster family describes Madison as the perfect house guest ready to become someone's new perfect family pet. Madison is a friendly girl who would love to accompany you on all your adventures. She enjoys car rides and sits in the back seat like a person. Madison loves to receive all the affection she can get and especially enjoys ear massages. She is house trained and is easy to walk as and she sniffs and says hello to all the other dogs and people she meets. If you're interested in getting a well trained dog who wants to love and be loved, Madison might be for you. And, how can you resist those adorable ears? Please contact us to arrange for you to meet the perfect Madison.

At SDHS:
Madison has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed/neutered and is is now ready for their new home!

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
