We rescued sweet Gus from a local shelter two months ago, where he was living for four months. Gus is 2-3 years old and a very sweet boy who loves to cuddle and fetch. He knows basic obedience and listens well, and is house trained. He is good with other dogs and is working on not chasing cats. He does well with children. We are currently working with an obedience trainer because he has some leash reactivity and stranger danger, but he has never shown aggression toward any person or animal that we have witnessed. We would love to keep him ourselves, unfortunately we have farm animals and a rescue cat that he is a bit too reactive with (our dog loving cat is trying to train him), and my dog is getting picky in his old age and is not a huge fan of Gus either. He would do great in a single animal household or another friendly dog, with someone who can give him lots of exercise and continue working on leash training and socializing. We will keep him until we find the perfect home for Gus.
