Glinda is something special! I am having the pleasure of fostering this lovely 7-8 year old 60 lb. black Lab mix here at Friendship Farm. Unlike many rescue dogs we see at this age, she’s in great shape both physically and mentally. Don’t let those gray face hairs deter you.
Glinda is thoroughly enjoying her time here at the farm where she is relaxing and romping with four other dogs and gently meeting my numerous indoor kitties. My dogs and cats are a great judge of character right from the get-go, and she has passed with flying colors. She is perfectly behaved in the house, hasn’t met a person she doesn’t like and is such a snuggler.
Why we don’t know how she ended up as a stray, she clearly was loved in her past life, was well-cared for and has lots more love to give. We are working on her leash manners, as she still pulls a bit but that is coming along. Glinda is housebroken, crate trained (though she doesn’t need it) and heartworm negative. She is scheduled to be spayed in the next few weeks and PLR will cover the cost of her surgery at our partner vet in Apex. Did I mention she also has the most adorable white back toes?

Meet the Pet
If approved, you will be given the foster's contact info. WE DO NOT SHIP DOGS. You must come to Apex, NC (near Raleigh) to meet in person.
3.
Sign Adoption Contract
If it's a match you can take your dog home that day. Our Adoption Fee is $325 and you must complete and sign our Adoption Agreement.
4.
Take the Pet Home
If you return the dog within 7 days of adoption you may receive a refund of $275. A $75 administrative fee is required to cover our costs.
Additional adoption info
You will receive the dog's Vet records via email 7-10 days after adoption. You will receive the dog's microchip info and rabies tag (if appropriate) via USPS about 2 weeks after adoption.
