My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you looking for an adorable Mini Pin/Cattle dog Mix? Turtle is the gal for you! What a combination and she is all puppy joy with none of the hard work! This sweet, affectionate 1 year old girl loves her people and other dogs. She enjoys running and chasing sticks and toys. Fetch is her favorite pastime if she’s not curled up next to you snuggling. Turtle loves chewing on her bones & ropes. She is very curious about cats but does not chase and is respectful of their space.

Turtle is house trained and would do best in a home with other dogs of similar size and energy to help her stay confident. She rides very well in the car and does very well with children (so far only tested with children ages 4 and up).

For more up to date information on this dog please go to our website @ https://www.playk9rescue.org/adopt-a-dog The adoption fee for this pet covers the cost of care and training which may have been for several weeks or several months depending on the health and training needs. The fee also covers all vet bills during this time to ensure his/her health is improved or maintained and provides you with assurance that this dog has been well cared for while in our possession and evaluated to meet your home's needs. Included in this fee is also life- long training support provided by PLAY! K9 Academy located in Bradenton, FL as well as Life time microchip registration.

When you adopt from a local shelter, you may not receive any medical history for this dog nor will you receive any behavioral history. We hope you understand that the minimal adoption fee we are asking is to continue our mission to rescue unwanted herding and working breeds from shelters/owners and get them adopted to their forever home.

PLAY! K9 Rescue will pay for the spay/neuter of this adopted dog. The spay/neuter must be done at a clinic or veterinarian's office approved by PLAY! K9 Rescue. If the adopter chooses to take the pet to their own veterinarian for the spay/neuter procedure, PLAY! K9 Rescue will refund the cost equivalent to an approved PLAY! K9 Rescue veterinarian or clinic.

All of our unaltered pets have a fully refundable deposit of $150.00 included within the adoption fee. Once the pet is altered at the appropriate time and proof supplied to our rescue, the adopter will be reimbursed $150.00. Our adoption contract explains this process in detail.
