My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What my friends at ACC say about me:

Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy!

I am looking for a home with a patient person.

I prefer to call the shots and enjoy coming to you when I'm ready for pets.

My foster writes: Our sweet Podina! This lovely, long-legged lady will headbutt her way right into your heart. She adores head and chin scratches, and will let you know you're doing well by purring up a storm. She's a wonderful lap cat and enjoys sitting on the couch, in her box, or on your lap. She prefers if she can approach you, but she will be rubbing up against your hands and legs in no time. She will try to snuggle you all night long if you let her!
Podina is a calm girl, and she would do well in a quiet house where she can nap to her heart's content, play hide-and-seek, and explore everything around her. She especially likes contained spaces, so we recommend a nice roofed cat bed for her.

A volunteer writes: Meet Miss Podina! This sleek black stunner with the white underbelly came to the Care Center from a home that had too many pets already. But Podina isn't wasting any time feeling blue about getting the boot. Instead, she's showing off her social, affectionate personality by head-bunting the hands of staffers and even allowing herself to be picked up and carried. Her former family vouched that Podina is a total love bug, a sweet girl who enjoys playing gently (hide and seek is a favorite!) when she isn't planting herself in the laps of family members. Podina did well on her behavior exam and is ready to hightail it out of the Care Center and move into your home ASAP. Meet her on 110th Street today!
