Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet Popeye! He is around 2 years old and came from a shelter in the DFW area after being found as a stray. He came to us missing his eye, but doesn't let this slow him down at all! He is crate trained and super friendly. He sometimes takes some time to warm up to dogs, but is doing great in his foster house - he is currently fostered with a cat as well :) He has met children and loves them! He is somewhat high energy, so his ideal forever home would be one that is very active where he can run around all he wants!
Adoption fee $150. Fully vetted. Heartworm negative. Apply for him at forthedogsrescue.org/adoptionapplication

After filling out an adoption application, a director from the rescue reaches out to the potential adopter to ask clarifying questions in order to choose the best fit applicant for the dog. After that, we schedule a meet-and-greet with the potential adopter and their animals (if applicable) to make sure that we feel it is a good fit for both the dog and the adopter. After that, if it is deemed a good match, the adopter fills out a contract, pays the adoption fee, and take home their new best friend!
