My name is Max!

Max is a lovable, family-friendly 3-year-old dog looking for a new forever home. We took him and his brother in from a previous owner who, due to illness, was no longer able to care for them. Unfortunately, they had been left in a barn, neglected and overfed, spending most of their days lying down. When they joined our family, both were unable to walk for more than five minutes at a time.

Since then, Max has flourished with regular exercise, a healthy diet, and lots of love. He enjoys hiking, playing, and snuggling with his people. He is fully house-trained, incredibly sweet, and gentle with small children, making him an ideal family dog.

While we adore Max, we already have two German Shepherds, and our home is simply too small for such a large crew. We’re searching for a loving home that can welcome Max (and ideally his brother too) as part of the family, offering them a stable diet, plenty of exercise, and room to thrive.
