My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Maria. My sweet Maria.

Maria is a female, mixed breed, 11 week old, super sweet girl. She weighs 14lbs.
Maria is the perfect mix of puppy energy and puppy calm. Maria loves her toys, chasing balls, she likes to run, and loves to be outside. But her most favorite thing to do is to snuggle up next to you, or on you. She is a gentle soul. A happy girl
Maria is also a smart girl, she learns quickly. She adjusts well to everything.  She is a “go with the flow” puppy.  She happily goes in her crate (for a treat, of course), and at just 11 weeks old, her potty training skills are amazing. Almost no accidents in the house now and never in her crate.
Maria loves other dogs and is fine with cats. She loves all humans, young and old.
Maria is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines and receives monthly preventative meds. She is ready to go and can’t wait to find her forever home and family.

All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home.

We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application.

We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information.

We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.

Go meet their pets

As a network of foster homes, we do not have a "shelter location". We do hold meet and greet events each month at various locations where you can meet our precious pitties. Otherwise, meet and greets are only available with an approved application and home visit.

You can view our schedule of events at www.adoptapitrescue.org/events or on our Facebook page, www.facebook.com/adoptapitrescue
