Meet JoJo!

This sweet and bubbly golden boy is ready to find his forever home! JoJo is an absolute love bug and can’t get enough of his people. Wherever you are, JoJo will be right by your side! JoJo is medium energy, loves to play in the yard and is learning to walk on the leash. JoJo came in to rescue as a stray with open wounds we believe to be from a gunshot. While he is healing well from those wounds, he is really just starting to learn what it is like to be in a loving household environment. JoJo is mostly house-trained so his perfect family will be one dedicated to keeping a routine to keep his training ongoing. This handsome fella is dog friendly and can co-exist with a dog savvy cat. JoJo is neutered, up to date on his vaccines, and on monthly flea/tick/heartworm preventatives. He is lovingly fostered in Northumberland, PA.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.

Additional adoption info

Filling out an application is the first step. An online application is located on Haven to Home's homepage. Application, references, home visit and adoption fee are required to adopt one of our dogs. Due to the severe overpopulation of dogs in this country Haven to Home believes that responsible pet owners have their pets spayed or neutered. Therefore it is our policy not to adopt our dogs to people who do not have their current animals spayed or neutered unless there is a medical reason. Adoption fees are listed on our website.

Haven to Home Canine Rescue is an all volunteer organization that was founded in June 2008. We do not have a shelter, but use foster homes to care for the dogs that are awaiting their forever homes. FOSTER HOMES are the HAVEN in Haven to Home. We are a non-profit, 501(c)3, organization.
