My name is Merry!

Welcome Merry to CCPAL Rescue. Merry is a 1-year-old Cairn Terrier mix. She is very low energy and cuddly. Her teeth are really white and clean as her adult teeth are just now coming in. She is the ultimate lap dog and weighs about 10 pounds. She is very content being held and is social and confident. She came from a homeless person that had about 6 dogs. The homless person had rescued all as strays. A good Samaritan stepped up to help and called CCPAL Rescue. CCPAL took in all the homeless person’s dogs except one she wanted to keep. We will be vaccinating them and spaying them to get them ready for their forever home. This girl is not a shedding dog and is very very affectionate. She would be fine around kids but I think her best home would be with a home that someone wants a lap dog. She would be a great one person dog. She is lots of company and will not require lots of exercise. A small condo type yard would work for her. She is good in a crate and with other dogs. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 400 and transportation fee is $200.
