I am Looking For: My loving forever family! Hi! I'm Vivica, and I am a cute little kitten! I won’t ask for much- just some love, cuddles and lots of toys so I can run and play and be my kitten self.

What the Shelter Says About Me: Vivica is described as a “silver tortie” - beautiful coloring and name for an extraordinary kitten! In addition to her beauty, she is calm and mellow and melts into your arms in bliss when she has someone who wants to love her. She is a perfect mix of exotic and home-girl who is ready to steal your heart. Vivica had a horrible eye infection when she came to our rescue's attention. She and her sister were very sick and were scooped up by a volunteer to foster. Her foster thought that Vivica's left eye was completely gone when she first saw her but treated both eyes with medication anyway. The foster and vet saved what they could of Vivica's vision, but the vet recommended that her eyelashes be removed because of possible pain from inverted eyelashes. Vivica is all healed and healthy now & living the life with her second foster. Vivica says instead of a disability - she has a special ability!  After all, she sees well enough to live a normal kitten life and appreciates everything and every bit of love. This kitten is a true love-bug. Watch out though - she is also a water-bug (loves to put her toys in the water!) All fun!

What My Foster Says About Me: Coming soon!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The adoption process begins when you submit an adoption application either online or at an adoption event. The individual responsible for the dog you are interested in adopting - a position we call the “adoption coordinator” - will then set up a time to discuss your application over the telephone. The adoption coordinator will check your vet reference to make sure all current and past pets were kept up-to-date with their shots and medical care. The adoption coordinator will also set up a home visit with one of our trained volunteers. That individual will come to your home to ensure that it is a safe environment, to confirm that everyone in the home is on board with adopting a dog, and to discuss any other questions you may have about dog adoption!

Our adoption events are held each weekend. A schedule of times and locations can be found at www.luckydoganimalrescue.org.
