At nearly 9 years old, Momma carries the quiet grace of a soul much older. She came to us not only with her own litter of kittens, but also caring for an extra little one who wasn’t hers by birth—but was hers by heart. That’s just the kind of cat Momma is: nurturing, gentle, and full of quiet love.
But shelter life has been hard on her. It’s noisy, busy, and overwhelming for a cat like Momma who thrives in calm, peaceful moments. She has a special hidey-hole here that gives her comfort, and in a forever home, she’ll likely find a new one to help her feel safe.
Momma needs a family with patience and understanding. She’ll take her time to come out of her shell—but she will, especially if there’s wet food involved and a soft voice calling her name. With enough quiet cuddle sessions and the space to be herself, she’ll slowly begin to bloom.
