My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Raindrop because i was found on a very rainy day and brought to the shelter soaking wet and hungry. I don't interact with people as much as other cats here, and love to keep to myself. But that doesn't mean i can't warm up to you and enjoy a good neck scratch and some time in your lap when i want to come out of my shell. I may not be super outgoing, but have my own way of bonding with special people. If you've ever had a furbaby like me before, you know the best way to win my affection. The right person will come along one day and give me a perfect home. Would you like to be my friend?

All animal adoptions are typically $80. For puppies and kittens under the age of 6 months, adoptions are $100. For dogs, this includes the first series of vaccinations, deworming, spay/neuter, heartworm testing and heartworm preventative. For cats, this includes the first series of vaccinations, deworming, spay/neuter and feline AIDS/leukemia testing. All cats and kittens adopted from the Germantown Animal Shelter are not allowed to be declawed. Any questions should be directed to animalshelter@germantown-tn.gov.
