My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sonny, the playful pup with a heart full of love and a belly always ready for rubs!

At just about a year old, Sonny is the perfect mix of youthful energy and sweet affection. While he might start off a little shy, it won’t take long for him to warm up and roll over for endless belly rubs. As soon as he feels comfortable, Sonny will shower you with love and snuggles.

Sonny is fantastic with other dogs—both male and female—and has a knack for reading social cues, making him a great candidate for a home with an active canine playmate. He’s crate trained and knows the “go to bed” command like a pro, though he might give a little whine when you leave before settling down.

This clever boy has already mastered “no,” “sit,” and “come” and is making great progress on “lay down,” “leave it,” and “shake.” His leash manners are pretty solid too, though he’s still working on ignoring tempting distractions like squirrels and cats.

Sonny is doing wonderfully with potty training when kept on a schedule. He’s sometimes cautious around men, but a few treats are all it takes to win him over.

If you’re looking for a fun, active companion who’s also a total cuddle bug, Sonny could be the perfect match. Whether he’s romping around with a doggy sibling or soaking up love and attention from his humans, Sonny’s ready to fill your home with joy and laughter.

Adoption is $275, which includes spay/neuter at our vet, vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health. Although we work to potty train all of our dogs, we cannot guarantee full house training before adoption. Regression is a normal part of transitioning to a new home.
