My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ginger, a gentle giant with a heart full of love. This sweet senior gal is searching for a foster or forever home where she can enjoy her golden years surrounded by love and comfort.

Ginger thrives on attention and affection, always happiest when she’s by your side or curled up at your feet. While she’s a low-energy lady, she still has a youthful spirit and enjoys short walks and exploring outside. Due to her current heartworm treatment, her activity is limited, but she’s found joy in sensory activities like licking peanut butter from her Kong or crunching on ice cubes.

Here’s what makes Ginger so special:

Food Lover: She’s incredibly food-motivated, so keeping counters and snacks out of reach is a must.
Dog Friendly: Ginger gets along wonderfully with other dogs she meets.
Cat Approved: She does well with cats after a brief warm-up period.
Potty Trained: She’s reliable when given regular bathroom breaks.
Low Energy: Perfect for a calm, slower-paced household.

Ginger is looking for a patient and loving home to help her settle in and enjoy life at her own pace. She’ll be your laid-back companion, always ready for snuggles and gentle strolls. If you’re looking for a big, sweet-hearted dog to share your home with, Ginger might be your perfect match.

Adoption is $275, which includes spay/neuter at our vet, vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health. Although we work to potty train all of our dogs, we cannot guarantee full house training before adoption. Regression is a normal part of transitioning to a new home.
