My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Hodge! I know what you're thinking: "Oh my gosh, he’s so cute!" You'd be correct; I am just adorable. I’m a little guy, only about 10 lbs. I love to be with my people and just hang out.

I am one year old and a perfect age - out of the puppy stage. I am a little shy at first. So, It may take me a few minutes to warm up, but once I love you, I love you with my whole heart. My foster mom says I have a lot of personality - I smile, stand on my back legs, and wink.

I sleep quietly in my pen at night, too. I’m not 100% house-trained; although, I am quickly getting there. I have had a lot of change lately, so my foster mom says it’s ok, I’ll quickly get the hang of it.

Just imagine the adventures we can have and the potential free food with this darling face. I can be your taste tester, lap warmer, or even influencer if Instagram is your thing. So, let's just cut to the chase. Have your people call my people, and we can set up something.

Their adoption process

Submit Application

Submit an adoption application at www.angelsrescue.org/adopt and a member of our Adoption Team will contact you for an interview.

2.
Meet the Pet

Our pets are located in foster homes. Once your application is approved, you will be connected with the foster family.

3.
Home Check

The foster family will do a brief home visit to ensure that it's a perfect match between family & pet!

4.
Pay Fee

Adoption fees range from $50 - $150 for cats and $150 - $300 for dogs. Specials and discounts may apply.

Sign Adoption Contract

Our team is available for support and referrals post adoption if you need it!

We ask that all pets and family members meet your potential new pet so that everyone can be sure they are the right fit!

Puppies and kittens under 4 months may only be adopted locally. Fully vetted and altered pets may be adopted out of state.
