Looking for a smushed face handsome boy!? Meet Franklin! Franklin is a charming 2-year-old Bulldog with a confident stride and an adventurous spirit! Once leashed up, he’s ready to go, eager to explore the world around him.
Franklin shines during playtime—he had a blast at the agility park, sniffing every corner, zooming around, and discovering his love for a stuffed toy! He’s incredibly gentle with toys, enjoying the fun of chasing and flinging them around without ever ripping any of them open. Franklin’s playful energy is perfectly balanced by his sweet moments, as he’ll often pause his zoomies to come over for some pets and belly rubs.
This friendly guy gets along well with other dogs here at the shelter and is house-trained, making him an easy addition to any home. Walking Franklin is a breeze, as he’s easygoing and a great companion on leash. He also returns to his kennel with no fuss after his adventures.
If you’re looking for a funny, active, and affectionate dog to brighten your days, Franklin is ready to be your new best friend! 💙

We ask potential adopters to fill out a matchmaker form. When they are ready to adopt an animal and the form and interview process indicates a good match, we have the adopter sign an adoption contract promising that the animal will receive good physical and emotional care. Fees vary and we often have adoption specials. Fees for senior pets are sponsored. Otherwise, dogs are $100, puppies $150 and up, cats are $75, kittens are $95.
